If those had been included, I would have gotten 5 stars. Great Tone, Great Features, Fender online guitar training rocks (so you really don't need the dvd). While surfing Amazon on my new laptop I saw the deals on the guitar packages and I made my move. I picked a name that I knew and a style that I liked and it all came together in this great package. I consulted with friends of mine who do play and they all agreed that this was a great deal. I had a small issue with not receiving all of the items that were shown to be included with this package, but Amazon and Fender came through eventually and I got them all. It is a simple instrument with a good sound. The DVD is very easy to follow and I plan on purchasing the full length version offered on Amazon. I still consider myself a rank amateur at playing but I'm enjoying learning more every time I pick it up and tune into my DVD.
