The New Zealand Spring scent is nice, the best way to describe it is fresh or outdoorsy. I think it is great for spring or summer time and it is not overpowering at all. If you're looking for a "warmer" scent I would recommend Febreze Noticeables Apple Spice and Delight 2 Refills, 1.758-Ounce, which is probably my favorites (especially around the holidays). Thinking we had grown used to the scent, I replaced the warmer, and then tried citrus/zest, and it was still weak and smelled pretty rough (not the crisp, clean scent I had hoped for!)The Gain scented Noticeables smell clean and bright and seem to do an excellent job of knocking out household odors, including litter box. Why 4 stars instead of 5? We've come full circle from too-weak scents to very, very strong. I wish they would perfect these things so that they aren't so overpowering at first. These are so strong that I have to unplug them often for the first week or so - even on the low setting - or we all end up with headaches! One way I do so is to ensure my office always smells fresh and clean. I went through literally 4 different plug in warmers before finding this one, and have now used it for 2 years. It lasts a long time and I appreciate the option for "high" and "low" scents (I use low on the first few days after adding a new refill, otherwise it's a bit strong for my small space). I always receive compliments about how my office smells, so I figure that means the dog is not noticeable. My favorites are the Gain laundry detergent scent and the "spring and renewal" one (in the purple box). I buy them on amazon because the local stores never have sales and never have the interesting scents. I get them on subscription shipping to save some money as well. |
