The guitar is very nice but please keep in mind it is a cheap guitar. Getting it tuned perfectly is impossible but you can get close. It also does not stay tuned for long. If you really care about having it well tuned, at all times this isn't for you. We have not gotten it to fully be tuned right and after every time my daughter plays we have to try to tune it again just to get it to sorta sound okay. It is made from real wood and when you pull it out of the package it has that awesome fresh wood smell that instruments have. I love that smell. The Amp is sooo cute. So very tiny. It works good for the price. If you have the volume up really loud it can have some static but in general for the size and price wow is it... However, it's what she wanted more than anything else for her birthday and it's something she can grow into with the passion she demonstrates to learn how to play it. We'll see. One thing I know, it was a heck of a buy when compared to other starting instruments made for children.
