Assembly was easy as well. However, the bolt at the bottom center of the base (where the cord feeds through) was too long and extends past the bottom of the base. So, the lamp is wobbly. I'm going to have to hacksaw the bolt or get some felt shims for the base so the lamp isn't crooked. Not what I expected for a $275 lamp and I certainly didn't want to go to the trouble of repackaging it and sending it back.
