Am extremely pleased with the quality of this lamp; and, it looks soooo much better that the picture! Blends well with my room colors (med gray and penny). I cant honestly see how its worth its original $1000+ price tag. Saying that the slate on the ones I received had a beautiful verdigris coloured finish with tones of blues, greens and slate greys. The shades are lovely and it will be perfect on the console table and dresser.
